Having enjoyed many meals alone while on the road, I like to watch people eat. Not what they are eating really, but what they are doing while they eat. This often makes me compare things to Montreal, my hometown and a real “foodie” city. At home we are all chefs, or so we pretend to be when we dine in.

I decided to hire a motorbike driver for the day, to see the list of sights I had planned to see in the Cambodian capital. For $ 10 USD, who could complain. But that’s not what I want to write about (I will get back to this in the next entry). It’s New Year’s Eve. I am 27 years old.

It was depressing to see Ding go. Despite our differences, Ding was amazing to travel with!
