tales from a wandering woman

About ten years ago I set a goal to visit 30 countries by my 30th birthday. With no plan or country list to fulfill this goal, I decided to let life take me where it wished.
“See Simi Travel | tales from a wandering woman“ is the account of an ex-20-something year old exploring the world, usually solo, and on a very tight budget.
Every other week I bring you a story about the friends, food, fun and fails I’ve had along the way.Proudly powered by WordPress | Theme design by TemplatePanic.com

did you hit your 30 countries? Which country would you highly recommend if I was interested in sustainability and social issues during my time in country?
Thanks!
Depends on what issues you are interested in. But many places (India Cambodia and Indonesia for example) have great opportunities for tourists you want to spend part of their time volunteering.
Hi Simi,
This is a really awesome site. I hope you reach your 30 countries.
I’d love for you to write for Pink Pangea (http://pinkpangea.com), a travel site specifically geared towards women travelers. Submit a photo of yourself in one of the countries you’ve visited and write a post about your experiences, providing some tips for other women travelers to that country.
Looking forward to hearing from you,
Rachel

So, one more to go girl! Which country will be the no.30? Simi, I put your blog link to my blog list to keep update. Miss you!
Hi Simi,
Great website. You should do a piece on Trinidad someday. Like trekking to the Falls or visiting Angel reef. Apparently lots of cool, off-the-beaten track places for the ecologically minded.
